Residential Framing

Residential Framing
in Raleigh, NC

Good framing is the skeleton of a durable home. Miguel Martinez handles residential framing throughout the Triangle area — from the subfloor up through walls, roof trusses, and sheathing — and considers framing projects elsewhere in North Carolina upon request.

Common Problems We See

Deck Frame Failure

Sagging, bounce, or rotted joists mean a deck frame has reached end of life. We demo the old structure and rebuild from the joists up.

Additions & Remodels

Adding on or reconfiguring a home means new walls, openings, and structural tying-in. We frame additions to tie cleanly into the existing structure.

Structural Repairs & Sistering

Sagging floors, bowing walls, and damaged joists need structural framing repair. We sister or replace members to restore integrity.

New Construction Framing

From the subfloor up — walls, roof trusses, sheathing, and wrap — we frame new homes and major builds in the Triangle area.

How We Approach the Work

  1. 1

    Plan & Layout

We review the plans, confirm dimensions, and lay out walls and openings before any lumber goes up.

  2. 2

    Floor & Wall Framing

Joists, studs, and plates are cut and assembled square and plumb — the foundation for everything that follows.

  3. 3

    Roof Trusses & Sheathing

Trusses are set, sheathed, and wrapped to close the building in and ready it for roofing and siding.

  4. 4

    Inspect & Hand Off

We square up, brace, and walk the frame so it's ready for inspection and the next trade.
